I worked on an early draft with the MA in Publishing cohort of 2024/25 at the University of Exeter. It’s the story of an Indian family, whose conflicts are interwoven with the dramas enfolding the gods and goddesses in Hindu mythology. I received a Research and Development Grant from Creative Scotland for this book, which took me back to India to trace my lineage, resulting in a surprising revelation linked to the ancient Bhakti Shaivite tradition.
